messy baby

Sometimes you just have to let your baby make a mess.

This was my sons first experience with pudding. He didn't mind it.

Baby Rowdy

When my son was in the NICU the nurses used to call him baby rowdy!

It is so true!

He Never stops.
Today hes used pot lid as tambourines.
I was thinking of buying him household items instead of toys he would rather play with them instead.

He also pulled a stool over on him self resulting in the bruise in the last picture.
he didn't cry.
Instead he started to yell at the stool then he bit it.

Rocking out

Today Kael and I went shopping.
We went to buy some new sleepers and a brand new record player.

My son loves to rock out to the Chipmunks. I enjoy the Shins, the Doors, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and well pretty much anything.

I hope his love of music continues.

Then we went shopping.

Then we went home and had a nap!

We had pizza for dinner and we played until bed time!!

Daddy Moments

There are moment in my sons life that I call daddy moment. These are moment that I wish his father was around to help. Moments where a boy needs his daddy, yesterday was one of those.
Yesterday Kael had his cast removed. It would have been nice to have his father around to hold him while the nurses turn the saw on to cut off his cast, I barely had the physical strength to hold him still. But we powered through it and the cast was removed with little tears and no blood. His brand new thumb looked great. I guess I will learn to get by without a daddy for my boy but I am still left to wonder who will teach my boy to pee his name in the snow???

Sick kids

Today my son and I will venture to sick kids hospital not for the first time but with any luck the last time. Later this week we will go to trillium Health center to have his cast removed hopefully this will be his last time there as well, but not likely, we face the looming prospect of more surgeries to come. Since my sons birth we average about two doctors visits a week. My son has seen more doctors, surgeon and specialist in his first 11 months then most will see in a life time. but this doesn't hold him back he is a wild child and I would have it any other way.
